Bronx - aka Stanley

The Bronx rose to prominence in the early twentieth century to become the drink of Prohibition, a time when America still had hundreds of vermouth companies. Prohibition meant illicit parcels needed to be smaller, ABV’s got higher, vermouth lost out.
By the end of Prohibition vermouth was on its knees.

Originally this Prohibition classic blended both sweet & dry vermouth. We use just one, our very own, amply complex No.1 Amber Limon.
We’ve named this tipple a Stanley, a tribute to Bronx born director, Stanley Kubrick, whose passion for filming in London was legendary.
