How it all began


Out drinking with friends a few years back, Guy sipped his tini and pondered,‘Strange, all these amazing London gins, why no amazing London Vermouth?’ , prompting Andrew to pronounce ‘We should make one!’ . After a few more drinks and colourful conversation London Vermouth Company was born.

Living part time in Valencia, a fully paid up Hispanophile, Andrew embraces the lifestyle, the culture and the openness of Spanish society. After careers in finance and as a councillor, he has embraced the life of a vermouth entrepreneur. When not blending or selling., he likes nothing more than researching vermouth culture which he has grown to adore in Spain. He dreams of the night when he’ll be able to walk into bars in London and order a whole bottle of our vermouth, a couple of glasses and a bucket load of ice.

Guy’s passion for vermouth started on a childhood trip to Sardinia and was reinforced by his grandfather’s deadly dry martinis. He never forgot those first sips. He has now taken the role as our in house cocktail expert spending his time experimenting on his family & friends at home or discovering the cocktails delights of London & beyond. Ever keen to expand his flavour repertoire, Guy enjoys traveling far & wide making avid notes of places and spaces where he’s tasted something wonderful, every port of call an excuse to find newness. Drinking in bars abroad is research after all.
